If you need special accommodations please contact me ahead of time.
The PVAW Task Force will also be sponsoring a Red Flag Campaign on February 14-16 in the LRC Lobby area with our community partner, the YWCA of Kaua'i. It is similar to the Clothesline Event held in October. Instead of t-shirts we will have red flags and cards to decorate with messages relating to warning signs in relationships. The Red Flag Campaign draws attention to dating violence and what bystanders can do to help friends who may be involved in an abusive relationship.
What was your red flag? (write your message on either a card or flag) Thank you,

Representatives to Talk About International Opportunities
Two representatives from the University of Hawaii Community Colleges, International Education office will be on campus this Thursday, February 2, 2012, to provide more information about international study opportunities for UHCC students. They are already scheduled to visit various classes on campus, but will also provide two open sessions in the LRC Lobby, 11:30am - 12:30pm, and 2:15pm - 3:00pm. For some of these, the UHCC office would like to send one student per campus if possible. Please let your students know about these great opportunities to broaden their education and international understanding. Applications are currently open. More information can be found at uhcc.hawaii.edu/international.
