ITS Update with David Lassner

David Lassner, Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer, will share IT updates and discuss some of the ITS plans for improved services to the UH community in the coming year during a Brown Bags presentation on November 8 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be time for questions and discussion.

The presentation will originate live from the University of Hawaii at Manoa campus in Kuykendall Hall room 201, broadcast to HITS locations throughout the UH system, and on Manoa Cable Channel 67.

Kauai County Pre-retirement Workshop

The Kaua'i County has invited University of Hawai'i employees to attend their Pre-retirement Workshop.

November 3, 2011
7:30 am (registration) – 4:30 pm
Kaua'i War memorial Convention Hall

This session is restricted to employees who are at least 52 years of age and plan to retire within the next three (3) years.

The following topics will be included (Complete agenda will be provided at the workshop):
  1. Wills and trusts
  2. Social Security
  3. Financial Planning
  4. Deferred Compensation (Island Savings Plan)
  5. Employees' Retirement System (Contributory, Non-contributory, and Hybrid) 

Please do NOT call the County for enrollment, information and/or questions. They will not accept any enrollments via the phone.

Deadline to register: Tuesday, October 25 by 2:00 pm.

Attendance will be restricted to those that have registered and have been confirmed. No walk-ins will be allowed.
