Congratulations to Cheryl Fujii!!

Each year, the Western Business Education Association (WBEA) recognizes three newsletter publications from among the many published in its sixteen member states/provinces/ territories for their excellence in publication practices, supporting member contact, and promoting professional and educational opportunities for their readerships.   At this year's WBEA Conference in Ogden, Utah, Cheryl Fujii was deservedly recognized for her outstanding work as editor of the Hawai'i Business Education Association's regular publication!

Ainu Presentation (3/5)

Aloha Kākou,

Ethnobotany (BOT 105) and Hawaiian Studies would like to invite the students, faculty, and staff to a presentation of Ainu culture in the magazine alcove of the Library on Tuesday, March 5 from 1 – 2 p.m. The Ainu are the indigenous people of Hokkaido, Japan. They plan to share their history and culture with our college and students. For any questions, please contact Brian Yamamoto or Molly Summers.
 Presentations on international topics will continue throughout the year as part of International Education.
