College Conversation about ISLOs March 23

Aloha!

In preparation for our reaccreditation visit, the Assessment Committee--with representation from all divisions and units--has been reviewing Kaua'i Community College's Institutional Student Learning Outcomes (ISLOs) since Fall of 2011. We have almost completed the process of ensuring the ISLOs are (1) assessable, (2) using clearly defined terms, (3) meeting or exceeding national standards, (4) achievable by all students in all programs, and (5) aligned with the College's mission statement and values. We would like to share our findings and recommendations with the College community and obtain feedback from the campus at large once the review is completed. Please join us on March 23 in the Cafeteria at 2:00 p.m. for a brief presentation and discussion session about the College's ISLOs and our recommendations stemming from the review.

An informational email with more details will be sent out to everyone once the Assessment Committee has completed its review and recommendations are finalized.
