This week: KIUC Forum and Sustainability Film on campus

Aloha kakou,
Two evening events will be happening later this week on campus. On Thursday, Feb 17, in the cafeteria, ASU-UH KCC and Apollo Kauai will host the KIUC Candidate Forum. Doors open at 6pm and the forum will begin at 6:30pm and end at 8:30pm.  See today's GI News for details-

On the following evening, Friday Feb 18, at 6:30 pm, join Jennifer Chirico from MCC's Sustainable Living Institute Maui, Keone Kealoha from Malama Kaua'i  and members of the Chancellor's Sustainability Committee for a screening and discussion of the film, Ho'okele Wa'a-Turning the Canoe, in MPC 114 Electronic Technology Building.

A Sustainable Living Institute of Maui (SLIM) production, Ho'okele Wa'a: Turning the Canoe features interviews from those leading efforts to protect Maui's environment and never-before-seen footage of some of Maui's unique natural resources. From the restoration of the ancient kalo lo`i (taro patches) and native forests to the latest breakthroughs in renewable energy technologies, this made-on-Maui film showcases people on Maui who are creating real sustainable solutions and a vision of hope for the World.

All College Discussion: Cyberstalking

All Students, Faculty, and Staff are invited:

On Wednesday February 16, Jodi Ito, UH IT Security Officer, we be here to do a presentation on Cyberstalking. There will be two sessions, one from 12:00 to 12:50, and another from 2:00 to 2:50. Both sessions will be held in ETRON 114.
