Volunteers will return on Wednesday, Oct. 17 from 9:00-2:00 p.m to assist students in making more t-shirts and to educate students about domestic violence (DV) and campus and community resources. In the evening at 5:00 p.m. there's a Candlelight Vigil to honor the victims and survivors of DV, sexual assault, and teen dating violence at St. Michael's. The Nursing students will be participating in this community event.
We're encouraging both students and staff to sign up now for the "Telling Amy's Story" film that will be shown this Friday, Oct. 19, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. in OCET Rm 106 C & D. A panel discussion follows immediately after the film with our community partners. There will be prize giveaways and everyone will receive a gift for attending. Staff are eligible to receive a professional buck. Space is limited so please contact: 245-8212 to make your reservation. Also, turn in unused cell phones by Friday for Project HopeLine.
Thank you,
