Greg Shepherd sings for Hollywood Icon

Greg Shepherd, KCC Music instructor, had the honor of singing "Some Enchanted Evening" to Mitzi Gaynor, star of the 1959 movie musical "South Pacific," at the 50th anniversary celebration of the making of the movie on Kauai. The event was held in conjunction with the Grand Opening of the  Princeville St. Regis Hotel on October 3.

  1. Woo hoo! Mr. Shepherd is the man!! REPRESENT!!! South Pacific is one of my favorite musicals. Is Kaua`i CC planning to have students do "Phantom of the Opera?" How about "Les Misérables," "Grease," "Fame," or "Sweeney Todd."

I missed "Man of La Mancha" but I heard that Mr. Shepherd and his cast did an awesome job.

near future, but we'll be having a mini-concert on Thursday, Dec. 10 at
12:15 in the One Stop Center. Hope you can join us!
