Teaching All Students, Reaching All Learners is a professional development workshop that is a part of KCC's Achieving the Dream initiative.
As faculty and instructors we are constantly challenged by the diversity of the students on our campus. This workshop will provide tools for meeting the needs of students with a wide range of cultural backgrounds, learning styles, abilities, and experiences.
Cultural Diversity
Recognizing the impact of diverse identities on student behavior
Including disability as a component of diversity
Understanding responses to diversity
Mentoring
Strategies for nurturing students who face discrimination and isolation
Mentoring students with disabilities
Providing real-life learning, and learning from our students
