- Learn about and train for a $50,000 a year job in Law Enforcement
- Help your island and community
- Be ready to pass the entry test when you are 20-1/2
- Receive training in CPR, First Aid, Criminal Law, Weapons, Traffic Control, and other police subjects
- Attend monthly training session on Saturdays
- Work 8 hours a month at the police station
- Earn the right to participate in Ride-Along with an officer
- Do community service projects
- 16 through 20 years old
- H.S. Graduate or H.S. Student with a C or better grade average
- Desire to join a team and make a difference in the community
- Willingness to be a team player
